Why use CMS when I can call radio stations directly?
In this era of downsizing and streamlining, media departments often find it inefficient to deal with stations in small and medium sized markets because it would require spending a disproportionate part of the account budget on an activity that can be handled more cost-effectively by CMS.

Do advertisers pay a premium for using the services CMS provides?
Absolutely not! The services CMS provides are free to advertisers. Radio stations pay CMS a sales commission because CMS brings them advertisers they would not have otherwise.

How does CMS handle billing?
Based on the media buyer's preference, we can handle billing one of two ways:

1. Invoices and affidavits can go directly from the stations to the agency, and the agency can pay each station;

Or, more conveniently for media buyers . . .

2. CMS can receive the invoices and affidavits, and review them to make sure the schedules ran as ordered. We then prepare an unwired network invoice for all the stations CMS represents on a given media buy. The agency then pays one check to CMS for the airtime. In turn, CMS pays each of the stations within 24 hours of the agency's payment.

Can you provide me with references? Yes.
